What this is

SoundClaimCheck is a free, searchable record of publicly reported YouTube Content ID claims on music, ambient sounds and sound effects, especially "free" and royalty-free audio, plus plain-language summaries of how each music library handles claims.

Who it's for

Small YouTube creators, especially relaxing, ambient, sleep and lofi channels, who want to check a track or library before they upload, or figure out what to do after a claim.

How cases are sourced and moderated

• Every case comes from a public source (forum threads, news coverage, library help pages) or a reader report, and links to its source where one exists.
• We summarize in our own words. We never publish usernames or personal details.
• We never invent cases. Unclear details are marked (e.g. "approx." dates, "not stated").
• Reader reports are reviewed by hand before publishing.
• Library facts come from each library's own pages where possible; anything unverified is labeled.
• Spot an error? Email us and we'll correct it.
